Virginia Commonwealth University is an urban university located in Richmond, Virginia. Parking
As Virginia Commonwealth University is located in an urban setting, parking can be a challenge. In the area immediately surrounding the Singleton Center for Performing Arts, parking spaces are either metered or under time restrictions until 9 p.m. These parking areas are enforced by Richmond Parking Enforcement.
To alleviate the stress and hassle of finding a potential parking place along the streets around the Singleton Center, we are offering a guaranteed parking space for your vehicle in the Cary Street Deck, a four-story garage managed by VCU, for the duration of the workshop. The cost of a parking pass is $8 and the pass is good for the entire weekend during deck hours of operation. Parking passes may be purchased on the workshop registration page, or in person at the registration tables during the workshop.
The Cary Street Deck is a 7-minute walk from the Singleton and Black Centers.
Parking passes will be emailed to purchasers by March 1, 2013 and must be displayed on the dashboard of the vehicle to avoid ticketing from Richmond Parking Enforcement.
