Master Class Information
The Southeast Horn Workshop welcomes horn students from all levels (high school through graduate school, and adult amateurs) to play in multiple master classes at the 2015 Southeast Horn Workshop.
The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra’s horn section will be presenting a master class on horn excerpts on Friday, March 6 at 9 a.m.
Military horn players, from the D.C. area bands will be presenting a master class on Saturday, March 7 at 10 a.m.
Adam Unsworth will be presenting a horn master class on Saturday, March 7 at 1 p.m.
Gail Williams will be presenting a master class on Sunday, March 8 at 10 a.m.
Interested persons must submit the following for application:
- A paragraph describing why you want to play in a master class.
- A brief letter of recommendation from your private teacher.
- An mp3 digital recording featuring a recent performance by the participant(s).
E-mail these items along with contact information and names of additional section members (if applicable) to Seth Orgel.
Complete applications must be received by February 1, 2015. Applicants selected to play will be notified shortly thereafter. For consideration, all master class applicants must be registered to attend the workshop.
