The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” provides musical support for the leadership of the United States, to include all branches of government, and to a wide spectrum of national and international events in order to connect the Army to the American people

U.S. Marine Bands

Besides “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, the Marine Corps offers opportunities for musicians in one of its 10 Marine Corps Fleet bands, stationed in Hawaii, southern California, Louisiana, Virginia, the Carolinas, Italy, and Okinawa, Japan. Instrumentalists and vocalists can enlist through the Musician Enlistment Option Program (MEOP). Serving as musical ambassadors, these Marine musicians perform in various ensembles—including wind ensemble, ceremonial, popular music, brass band, and chamber groups—gaining the satisfaction and experience of a full-time professional musician in national and international venues.
